Changing the number format for a footnote"I want to be able to repeat a number but it won't let me. For example I noted up to 3 sources and I wanted to go back to the first source, and it would continue counting.”Click on the little 1/2 square with a downward facing arrow in the references tab in the footnotes section. It is something most people would not notice.  A foot note and end note window opens and gives you options to change the number format. 
In the format section you can choose your options from a dropdown arrow. Or in the box above change the start number. Let me know if this helps. Top
