When you are creating a publication, you might need to delete pages that are no longer relevant. In this tutorial, we will review how to do this as well as move and rename the pages in your publication.
To do this, we will navigate to the Pages section of the Page Design tab. As you can see in the image to the left, we have the options to Delete, Move, and Rename the pages in our publication.
To delete a page, you will want to make sure the Page Navigation pane is open.
In the Page Navigation pane (to the left of the main page of your publication), select the page you would like to delete.
Then select the Delete command from the Pages section of the Page Design tab.
Next, if you want to move or rearrange the pages within your publication, you will again need to utilize the page navigation pane.
Select the page in the Page Navigation pane you would like to move.
Click on the Move command from the Pages section of the Page Design tab. The Move Page dialog box will appear.
Choose whether you would like to move your selected page Before or After the page in This page section. Be sure to select the page in This page section and click OK when you are finished to apply the changes.
Note, you can also click on the page from the Page Navigation pane and drag it to the desired location.
To rename a page in your publication, select the page from the Page Navigation pane. Click on the Rename command from the Pages section of the Page Design tab. The Rename Page window will appear. Type the name in the Page title text box and select OK. Note, the name does not display on the publication; it is only for your reference.
