Keeping multiple windows open
by: Jennifer

There are a couple ways to do this. It will make the windows smaller to read and you may need to scroll but you can click the restore down button next to the x in the upper right corner then click on the bar at the very top of your browser window and click, hold and drag the window to the left or right. This will make the window change shape to 1/2 the screen. When it does this release the mouse button. Do the same in Word and the windows will be side by side.

another way is to use the restore down button and then place your cursor on the edge and drag the edge of the window to make it any size you want. Do this with both your browser and word.

The third way is to flip back and forth between the two programs by minimizing the windows with the button that looks like a dash in the upper right corner of the window. That will put the program at the bottom in your task bar. To bring the program back to the top click on the task bar icon to bring it back.

I hope this helps. If not please feel free to post again or I can email you screen shots if you send your email address.

Thank you for your question.
